He's a gent, and his comments about the Prem, Davies and Derby were well placed.

Good luck against the dodgy blues, whomever they might turn out to be.

Yes, he was very curtious in victory and complimentary about us and Davies.

Lets hope they go up. We cant have a welsh side inthe Prem, and itl be nice to batter Fester again.

Agreed, very respectful in victory.

Although when he complains about people not taking him seriously he does kind of bring it on himself. When you make some of the comment he does, as funny as they are, then you set yourself up to be perceived as a joker.

I do like the man, though. A thoroughly nice bloke and how can you not like him for where he took Leicester.

I think last night Ian Holloway showed an awful lot of people in football how to show utmost respect to your opponents and their supporters, thrash your opponents and then be truly gracious in victory.

We should all learn from that.

He's a gent - and I wish him well. I hope he becomes successful - Football needs characters and people like him.

Personally I think he is a true proffesional and a gentleman.

Also his an absolute top draw manager, better than half them overpaid fools in the premiership.

His comments about BD and Forest were very professional and you could tell he meant them as well.

Gone up a lot in my estimation

I have a lot of time for Holloway - I said the other day that he's up there with Steve Coppell as my favourite managers for his honesty.

He was a gracious winner last night and he's quite obviously a great motivator of men. (although I don't think he's the best tactically - yes, he was spot on last night, but I see him doing something similar to Hart where he won't deviate from the tactics that've worked in the past)

A true gent and I wish him and his Blackpool side all the best.

I like Mick McCarthy for his honesty too, although he's more confrontational and blunt about it.

Indeed. If only some Blackpool fans who've posted on here last night/this morning could follow his lead...

Just watched the interview and for his dignity alone I hope Blackpool get up. He's a true gent. G'wan the Pool

He's a manager I've got a lot of time for, seems a thoroughly nice bloke as well - to the extent that I felt a shred of sympathy for him when he took Leicester down.

Before he arrived I thought he wouldn't work well with our 'honest but limited' squad, was more interested in comedy soundbites, and it would all end in tears, either in Plymouth or Leicester fashion. I was completely wrong. The fans and the players didn't quite 'get' what he was about at first, but he has won us all round and he has struck the right note in every interview I've heard. As the chairman will admit, he's totally changed the ethic of the club, and it's relationship with the fans and the community. A fantastic guy.

He is a quality guy - before Saturday's game they played the clip from his QPR days....

Some weeks the lady is good looking and some weeks they're not. Our performance today would have been not the best looking bird but at least we got her in the taxi.
