Ian Harte

First Team Squad
Was on a rolling month-to-month contract at Blackpool, now mutually terminated. He did okay there, without overly impressing, according to a fan at work. Not as old as you think, loads of experience. Worth a punt for anybody, even if only on a similar month-to-month?

this would be a panic buy

He was good at Leeds when they were in the Prem. Not so sure now though. He seems to be doing the rounds now. If he was kept on a month to month contract then it doesn't say much about his form. I don't think we need him really.

Would be a great signing 10 years ago

Alarm bells should start ringing as soon as you hear the phrase "released by Blackpool"

Exactly. It tells you everything you need to know.

James Perch looks a bit like morph and Estelle and an ant

:) no not ideal but short term on a pay-as-you-play ... considering that we have Joel Lynch ;D

Believe me he is that old!!

Too old I would rather see Wilson there

He's only 31! Played in the Prem last year.

I'd hardly be dancing in the streets myself, however somebody like that might do a job as we're so short. Wilson has done well there, but he is third choice centre half as well! A couple of knocks and we end up in trouble.

I'm the only one interested so I'll leave it :D 8)

hes 31.

god can you imagine us bidding for someone that OLD, imagine if we bought a 33 year old.................

Do Blackpool actually have any players not on loan?

Watching them on tv it looks like they have loaned out one of their stands as well.

If he's not good enough to get a game for Blackpool then I'd sooner stick with Heath and give him some experience.

He didn't play in the prem last year he was part of a premier league squad.

As was a certain Andy Cole.

see link above to soccernet: 3+5 games in the Prem league 07-08, hardly impressive but there you go

I think you responded to that for mr!

There are better available out there. I watched him play aginst Wolves for Blackpool and his legs have gone.
