I've had a few too many sambucas in there and started getting a bit carried away with a few songs and got a telling off. The doorman who work in there are shady to say the least and like to work in numbers.

The rock city bouncers are normally alright if you behave. I've been in, in my forest shirt many a time (I only go infrequently on saturdays, i miss the old metal nights
) and never had a problem. Its turned very studenty on a saturday now- and im partly to blame

Agree, a crap shit-hole now. It used to be a fab shit hole, owned by [hells angels], bouncers supplied by [hells angels] - has steadily drifted downhill by allowing in punters wearing football shirts.
I remember ogling a fanny clad in short shorts (fanny hair and lack of knickers evident), toots out, big boots, dark lipstick.......... heaven ?
I have had some fab nights in rock city, middle aged kids - that now could easily kick my head in - have since ruined it.

thats wierd cos when i went to go see bowling for soup there a few years ago the support act bloodhound gang were starting the chants about derby and were even selling merchandise after about derby being so sh*t but i didnt have enough money to get a t-shirt
