Sod Judas, where'd you get the Storm Trooper costumes?! They're bloody ace!

cant believe he said that

f***ing ****

im slowly starting to hate the whole clough family.

I wouldn't have shot him but I might have accidently tripped before inserting my blaster up his arse.

Had a dig at us today over calling the game off in one of his interviews. What got me was in the same interview, he publicly told the guy conducting it that Bueono was their best player. Even if this is the case, surely it isn't good for a manager to be singling out one player as his best player. It's not something which I imagine Billy would do.

He's a f***ing prick & nowhere near as good as his Dad and NEVER will be the stuttering willy muncher.

Anti-Derby jingoism aside (not that I disapprove of it) what the hell has happened to him? I know there were more popular players at Forest in his times here but the vast majority of fans always seemed to respect his contribution at worst, and a great many people wanted to see what he could do here as manager, which was as much for sentimental reasons as it was his managerial ability.

Maybe some fans have slagged him off then and now, maybe some dickheads none of us liked or knew on the board were horrible to his Dad and maybe he's had some stick from the terraces (As Davies has had from their lot) but if pete2009's account is more or less verbatim, it's just deeply saddening that he can't find anything nice to say on a day like this.

If it's all in the past, there's a couple of League Cup winner's medals want chucking out for a start.

Strange isn't it, and actually quite sad that he can't even acknowledge his past. What an odd bloke he is. These days he comes across as a joyless twat - more like Fergie mark II than Clough mark II.

whole clough family seem to hate forest with a passion for some reason.

In comparison look at the way roy keanne talks about his time at forest, now this is a player who left at the same time as clough and went on to achieve so much more yet still rates the club highly and has a good relationship with the fans.

also this hatred clough has developed is a new thing as he was quite happy to speak of his pride for the club when he was given a chance by pearce to play for us on loan in the late 90s, hes a strange one

What we all forget is that the club we follow as a kid is normally the one we still follow when we die. Nigel's early tears were all about Derby and I can understand why he has an emotional attachment to them. Even some rose coloured spectacles induced stuff. There are not many Pro footballers who get to play for the team they followed as a kid and unlike us they have to de-tune this emotional link in their playing years.
Nigel is what he is, and he is never going to be like his old man no more than the offspring of most iconic parents.

Me Owd has been planning a Keane piece for some time but feels a bit mixed up about it.

I know I loved him when he was at Forest and I like him coming back as a manager and we seem to always beat his sides. I hated him at Man Utd though.

I bought his book and read the first four chapters, until he left Forest.

I don't really understand the Cloughs. Their preference for Derby over us makes no sense. Brian was with us for 18 years and rebuilt our ground and relaid our history.

I'm a bore. I spend hours every day going over 1979 and 1980. I wasn't even a football fan then. It was all happening in sight of my bedroom and I was too busy listening to The Clash to notice that Forest were the best team in the f***ing world ever. Now I buy Evening Post memorabilia on ebay that I wouldn't have looked at back then.

Terry Curran. Have you seen his goals from the 1976 season? Martin O' Neill - Cloughie didn't really appreciate what he had there.

Nigel Clough sat on the Derby bench as a little kid. His Dad let him. Most of his playing career was in a Forest shirt. What Clough and Taylor achieved at Derby was insignificant, compared to what Brian alone did at Forest, after Taylor had gone back to Derby. Nevermind the glory years.

The speed of Woodcock. Birtles destroying European Cup winners Liverpool - practically on his debut.

My adulthood was born in the transition from Withe to Birtles.

Except in Danny Taylor's book Nigel talks about being a huge Forest fan as a boy, idolising Robertson & Birtles, posters on his wall etc etc. Even though he was presumably a Derby fan until he was 6 years old, it's still a bit odd if he's suddenly wiped out everything after that.

I suspose professionally he's a position where he can't say anything remotely positive about Forest even if he wants to, which is stupid but a lot of football is stupid. In fact a lot of the anti-Forest stuff over the last two years has been to keep the fans onside when his job was at risk. I suspect that psychologically he's just now programmed himself to be anti-Forest, it's become an automatic response for fear of being caught out. Before he went to Derby he'd always spoken openly about having soft spots for both teams and he seemed too level-headed to suddenly become so seemingly irrational without good reason.
