I appreciate we haven't the luxury of time to bed him

When you're drawing at home with 2 mins left and the ball's being pumped into the box you need someone with presence to make those corners and free kicks a nightmare for the opposition. A striker with ariel presence seems something we've clearly missed this season, and I'm happy to admit I never really noticed it at the start of the season.
Luckily this can play a bit too, so we're not lumbered with a Gareth Taylor type who is useful to a degree but extremly one dimensional.
It appears Davies doesnt seem to favour him; mentioning a few times that he's young and inexperienced. I can understand him being fairly unhappy about not starting, but we only had 3 strikers including him before we brought Blackstock in. It'll depend on who Davies brings in next season and if we're still in the championship whether or not he'll stay, i reckon.thesquareone said:do we think garner was money well spent ?, personally I think he will be gone close season ? he hasnt really taken off here and must feel like crap having a loan signing now go ahead of him in the rankings, do we think he's been given much of a chance ?
