The Football Supporters' Federation have teamed up with Butterfly Hotels to offer a great deal to any Forest fans travelling to the game with Peterborough on 3rd October.

For £30 per person, they're offering your overnight accommodation, as well as throwing in a full English breakfast in the morning and a free pint on arrival. You can't say fairer than that, surely?

It's not the most convenient, but it's not bad.

It's about 7 minutes away from the stadium in a taxi, but two bus journeys (about 25 mins) if you're cheap (like me).

Hmm, my house isn't very big...lol

(Although I will consider putting some of you up and throwing in a free fry-up, I'm not giving up my bed!!!)

lol. I think we'll be avoiding Weatherspoons as it's a magnet for the local weirdos...

I've got the Brewery Tap lined up for pre-match drinking. It's home to the Oakham Ales micro-brewery, has a fine line in Thai food and is away fan friendly. Plus it's located right in the town centre, about a minute from the train station and near all the major car-parks.
 
Eww the Butterfly hotel.. Its not that great.. I wouldnt recommend you lot staying there.. Take that from a Peterborough born person..

It does.. However i personally wouldnt stay in it. as its where we put all the sales execs up when they are in peterborough and they personally hate it. Its not that clean inside.. (so they say). so.we no longer put them up there. They are now in the Park Inn
 
Bear in mind how much the average footy fan cares about such things in the face of cheapness :)

Sounds like a good pub.

To get there from the train station, is it quicker to try and cross Bourges Boulevard? Or is it easily accessible by going over the footbridge into Westgate??

Its easily accessible from the footbridge.. Bourges is always busy..

I did it in about 25 minutes, at a relaxed pace, stopping at Asda to get a drink.

So I'd say 15 minutes at a brisk walk?
 
Am very much considering this deal. My friend Mel has been pestering me to take her to a game, however she's not the sort who'd want to stay somewhere crappy or spend ages wandering round. Therefore including a taxi in the price is ideal!

Actually, I should be able to get a couple of tickets for this shouldn't I? Or is there a really low allocation??
