I hope them scums don't come and wreck amici and other places this season , espcially with the game being easter saturday there will be alot of young kids going and for them to witness it would be a scary thing , and i don't see why they did it last time ,, have we ever wrecked a pub in there town or a shop/pub near the ground ?? Does anyone know if there going to do it again??

The general consensus is that some foolish younger Forest fans squared up to the Brizzle fans and ran off from them, into Amici.

Of course, actions of either party aren't to be condoned - but it was hardly an unprovoked or random attack.

Very much doubt it.

Winnits is right, it was started by some young Forest lads
I was in Amici at the time, when about 10 or so came to Amici and said Brizzle are up the road
1 of them took a chair and they went back up towards where they were, we could here the commotion and see the chair flying in the air, within a few minutes they were ran back and out numbered and thats when all hell broke loose in Amici, bottles, chairs, bricks planks of wood came flying in our direction, thought old bill would be there in seconds but they never came, so it was backs to the wall and avoid missiles for the next 10/15 minutes or so , it was a bit scary for kids in there, they quickly opened doors at the back for them to get out, while the rest who was in there just stood our ground Dont think it will happen again, the old bill didnt expect that many Brizzle coming up to Nott,s that day and dont think they will be caught out again....
for us old uns, it was just like the good old days ;D

Hence the increase in the police and security prescence in Amici, however I'm still pretty sure that the "Hooligans" don't drink their!

Aparently its a bit of an on going thing from when Forest turned over Bristol a few years back.

What's with the sudden obsession with hooliganism on here ???

Go looking for a fight because someone happens to support another team, and your a c**t in my book. Fair enough if your defending yourself, but if you go actively looking for it, then quite frankly, you deserve to get your head kicked in if you happen to start on the wrong person.

"friend" I'm bringing with me to sheffield has been punching me on the arm at work all week and saying, come on fight back, you need to practice, what you going to do when were in sheffield ...

My answer was simply .... have a drink, watch us get beat and have more drink ... :)

He also owns a Manchester United top ... hmmm maybe this football violence isn't too bad after all

Be suprised if anything happened today although there is a bit of "History"

All comes from the cup semi final in (I think) '89 when we beat them at their place 2-0 was it? Pouring with rain and I think it was 2nd leg of the league cup semi? I obviously wasn't there having only been 4 at the time but have heard the stories of that one.

Biskit, you're a dick!

There is absolutely no reasonable excuse you can give to the idiots that endanger people's lives - especially children's - by throwing bricks, bottles, wood etc into a crowded bar.

Might be wrong but Amici looked like it was closed when we drove past, with police guarding the entrance.

Didn't see or hear of any trouble either pre or post match. Not a siren, a horse or dog in sight.....just a single lonely Bristol City fan sat on his own outside TBI just wanting a peaceful pint to drown his sorrows. ;D
