The build up to their goal was pretty good to be fair. The ball to get whoever it was in behind the defence was sublime.

Johnny Bravo-esque is the only term for it really.

I like the little girly jump by Smith, wonder if he could have made himself bigger, full stretch, raised arms? Or positioned himself for the cross rather than being sucked towards the ball?

It's terrible defending overall, to be honest. Moussi lets go off his man, Wilson gets easily pushed away, Smith should stay on the line (see the irony?! :) ), Osbourne can't follow Scotlands run properly, and Lynch should stay at the post. No one (or everyone) is to blame for that goal. Shouldn't happen, but it does!

Lynch on the line could have put in a little more effort, probably.

I don't know really, I should really get to bed.

But bloody Politics work.

I don't think Breckin is out of position for that goal. Moussi should follow his man, and let Breckin close down the other guy. Instead Moussi let's go off his man, and he is allowed to run into the box without anyone marking him. I'm not in the "Smith out" camp, BUT when there's a 1-on-1 with a defender and a striker, the keeper should never come for it (Unless he's 100% sure he's going to get to the ball first). It's common knowledge! :)

Scotland had to stretch for the ball, and put it in with no power.

One of the defenders should have challenged him.
