Can you explain the Brighton / Palace thing ? It's always baffled me as a rivalry!

I can maybe understand Brighton fans hating Palace, but why is it reciprocated? Palace surely have many more convenient rivals.

Basically, pompey have southhampton, crawley are non-league, millwall have got charlton and gillingham. the palace brighton thing happened about 25 years ago when we were the dolphins (very camp i know) some brighton fans at smelhurst heard them saying 'eagles' and we turned it into 'seagulls'. I'm not sure if this is how the rivalry was born. You'd have to go on north stand chat . Com and ask the more knowledgeable fans. A watch county because i don't get to see albion much these days due to finances, but i love watching live footy. And i had to choose a shiiter team than brighton so i started watching notts and burton sometimes and its cheap for me to watch them. And derby county is a complete rip off. :cheers:

Really? Most people get in for free. Just test drive a Audi and youll get a ticket. Is your mobile phone up for renewal? If yes they will give you a fre season ticket lol
