Hi all Norwich fan here

ncfc lad

A. Trialist
Hi all, I've just got back to sunny Great Yarmouth following our game! I thought I would ask you what you all thought of it? I thought Norwich played well at the start and we hit the woodwork a couple of times early on. You then got into it more and won (what I thought was) a weak penalty. I believe we deserved our equaliser, and could have won it in the end. Your best players were 2 ex NCFC boys (Earnie and Berty!). Cracking atmosphere in the away end, except when we were told to sit down! Love the ground, just a shame it wasnt a full sell out! Good luck for the rest of the year, and I'm certain that, despite your poor start, Top 6 is an almost certainty for you as when you get a win, more will follow. For us? I think mid table probably

The penalty that was given was ridiculous, but the foul on Dexter Blackstock just before was stonewall from my seat... I think the referee realised this and compensated.

Aside from that I agree with your summary - Norwich impressed me, quick on the break and worked hard to spoil our ability to play (that ability was quite limited today!). Also agree Earnie and Bertie were our most outstanding players... Holt was quiet for you boys, a ridiculous dive to try to win a penalty then a gilt-edged chance (good run by the big fella) that he really should've put away... good save by Campy though.

Thought Norwich were the best team out of the four we've played so far but I don't know if thats because we made you look so good. You definitely deserved all three points and probably should have won by a two goal margin, if not more.

Ref was dreadful. Like you said our penalty was weak (blatant dive better description) but saying that we should have had one moments before for a stone waller. You should have had one in the first half too.

Norwich will be fine this season, 10th or so. Forest won't be any higher.

It was certainly different seeing a team bring the game to us like Norwich did today.

You certainly deserved it on that performance, keep playing like that and you will certainly be in the play offs at the end of the season. Your number 7 was all over the place in the centre of the park coving for your CBs was very impressed with him.

we were dreadful and made norwich look better than they are . mid table for them, possibly worse for us . earnie & bertrand were definitely our best players today. mckenna is getting worse.

Yeah I thought Norwich were poor, just hoofed it up constantly which, to be fair, is playing to your strengths. Like him or not, Grolt is pretty effect and better than a lot of Forest fans ever gave him credit for. He certainly controls the ball better than Dexter Blackstock does.

Also nice to see Hoolahan still diving as much as he did when Blackpool had him in L1. Still remember him 'winning' a penalty in the last minute for them to nick a 1-1 draw.

Ref was ****. The free kick you scored from wasn't one - two of your players run into each other and one fell over on top of the ball.

If you were any good you would have smashed us 4 or 5-1. We really didn't create any decent chances.

Yes - I said at the time he'd given the penalty from a few minutes earlier.

We made Norwich look good yesterday.

We need to get better at booing - the players and staff and spectators dont know who the boos are aimed at. A poster from A block says it was because Forest were ****, a poster in T5 says it was because McKenna was ****, a poster in T3 says it was because Raddy was ****, a poster in Victors Veranda says it was because he brought Tyson on. Its not rocket science, we just need to get organised, surely?

Im no footballing Guru. But if people honestly believe booing a team will lift morale, which is obviously what we are lacking. Tell them to please refrain from going to any games and sit down in an arm chair with a cup of coco and listen to the commentary!

Two sides not in danger of going down, if that makes anyone feel any better.

Fair play to you boys, but the ref was a f***ing disgrace.

Their defence looked very suspect but with Grolt, Martin and diver Hoolahan they should score enough goals to comfortably stay up.
