It was only meant lightheartedly really, although it is a bit suspicious. However, we are replacing our back for with better players, they are getting rid of players like Tyrone Mears and Nayatanga with an Mansfield reject who did a decent job at Burton and Leicester and Ilkeston players
We have also signed Adebola, McGoldrick, Lynch (black(ish)), Blackstock. O you can add Ellington to their list aswell - at least i think hes gone!

Nyatanga - Been with us since academy days, was pushed into the team far too early and at an early age, he's never really progressed but then he is only 21! One of those styrange ones but I feel that a move for him is the best option even though he still is very young
Darren Moore - Clough never got rid of him
Sterjovski - waste of space, time, money - Jewell signing
Villa - as above but funnily enough got the most money for him
Dickinson - Jewell signing, never played for us, cant comment on his ability due to this
Claude Davis - Billy Davies signing - Thanks Billy, he's going to cost us about £1 million to pay off - total shit!
Tyrone Mears - Didnt want to be here last season and didnt want to be here this season either, sold an unhappy player (right way of doing business). Good player on his day (not many of them though) but does like to have his ego massaged a lot - e.g first game of our ill fated EPL season Billy suggested that Tye could play for England
As for you guys signing all these players, I'm a little jealous but then I kind of snap out of it and remember the mess that we've been left in after signing a shed load of players - Billy's first season with us and the Jewell season
I hope it works out for you guys but Billy's track record suggests he'll be with you for no more than 3 seasons - if he's with you longer than this I'll be surprised
I do get the feeling that this is Doughty's last throw of the dice with your club though...........

Look at Big Ron, caught saying racist comments....team full of black players. Now who would have guessed he was a racist?
I do believe though that some managers like to work mostly with native English speakers, who culturally are at home in the England. They probably feel there is one less issue to deal with on top of all the others problems they face.
Let’s face it, the percentage of top black footballers in England is huge and Clough would be shooting himself in the foot if he decided to omit such a group of players.
Then again Clough isn’t after top footballers, so maybe I’m just talking crap.

Yes we've signed a lot but they're not strangers Blackstock, Lynch, Anderson, Camp, Gunter all played for us last season mostly in the same team. That leaves McKenna, McGoldrick and Adebola as newbies - 3 or 4 new faces is not uncommon come August.
Hopefully this time we'll give you a proper contest for the Brian Clough trophy!
