Heath Pearce

Hey guys, I'm an American who just so happens to be a huge Forest fan (not really sure how it happened, but what the hey, there's a lot worse things in life, like being a Notts County or Leicester fan, right?!?!),

Anyhow, I recognize the need for a left back, does anybody think Heath Pearce, 25 year old reserve left back for the US team who currently plays for FC Dallas, would be a good player to look at for the Reds? I'd love to see him get over the England to improve his game and he seems to show signs of being a quality back, though somewhat inconsistent.

Just throwing that out there, I'd love to see Forest sign an American so I have yet another reason to root for them!

Cheers.

Heath Pearce is terrible. Made to look second rate by some Czech reserves last night. Wouldn't mind Spector who can play right or left back. He's on Prem wages though.

apondaway,
I would much rather that Forest take a look at Jay DeMerit. We can get him on a free, he played great against us, he will definitely add some steel to our central defence, and with the way Gooch looked last night, could be starting at centre half vs England.

Didn't Heath Pearce die during the filming of The Dark Knight?

No, that was Sean St Ledger.

He's crap as well.

I'd love that as well, obviously my suggestion for Pearce has selfish reasoning behind it as well. The US is miserable at left back and the only way they will improve is to hop across the pond and play in a quality league. Since Pearce is 24 (I think) he has a shot for 2014 if he improves his shape. I don't see that happening in the MLS.

To whomever asked, I'm in the DC area, though my in-laws are in the Philly area.

When is the transfer window (or whatever it's called)? Does Forest have the financial standing to make a couple good investments? I keep hearing a couple sides are really in bad financial shape, is that a common occurance in English Football? I fear I'm not very knowledgable about the goings on over there, especially in regards to the Champinoship League.

He was really bad, I was quite disapointed, all he had to do was look reasonable and he could have won the spot over Bornstein, who you English will destroy. You think Pearce is bad, Bornstein is worse, IMO.

You are right about that. Bornstein got abused and I agree that if it came down to those 2, I'd definitely take Pearce.
