Nottingham Forest Captain Paul McKenna suffered Knee ligament damage on saturdays clash with Swansea city. Billy Davies, Nottingham Forest manager was quick to inform reporters that his aim in the coming days is to bring in someone to cover the injured skipper. He also added that there were other areas that needed addressing. A replacement for McKenna could be Portsmouth midfielder Hayden Mullins. Mullins , like McKenna is a holding midfield player and with Portsmouth eager to sell their assets as soon as possible this deal could be pushed through quickly.
The deal would inevitably be a loan with a permanent move in the summer. Mullins has played in the Premierhip for some time and was part of the team that beat Preston in the playoff final 1–0. Invaluable experience, this one could be a real gem.

None of the information recieved from my sources has been realised to date. The Acquisitions panel at Forest seem to drag out transfers for as long as possible, Lee Naylor / Mark Reynolds could still be the solution to the left back position. And i am still hearing things about Darren Ambrose . fingers crossed. ForestRED

I belong to nobody!!!
I don't know how he's doing at Pompey at the moment but whilst at West Ham he was a steady performer.

I thought he was a right-back though?

I'd certainly welcome Mullins on loan for the rest of the season - as a Pompey player he's certainly got something to play for.

That Hayden Mullins
Joined in the kangaroo cullings
He stabbed 60 baby roos
With a 10 foot canoe
He skinned them all and made a coat
When he capsized it kept him afloat
I cautionary tale for any marsupials
Befriend Mullins and it's your burial

depends on the severity of it tbh... But going on 6-8 weeks for recovery and then regaining match fitness.

I was informed that my ankle ligaments are damaged this morning and thats 9 weeks and apparently the swelling can take months to go

As with all injuries, the recovery is as long as the injury was severe. Was a good sign he managed to walk/limp of himself, but, as was mentioned earlier in the thread, getting match fitness could take as long as the rest period.

I like Mullins though, be a great addition
