Have you ever been pushed by a man?

If you have, how much forced was used, compared to Garath McClearys push on Savage?
Savage fell like he was hit by a truck. And I have been pushed a couple of times during my 23 years, and I know for a fact that it takes much force to get a person to fall over, and I have never been elevated by a push... Savage was 2 feet off the ground! So, diving is a bookable offence, isn't it?
Sure, the push is a yellow card, but that dive is theatrics, and meant to provoke... this in front of the Brian Clough stand, full of Forest fans. It's meant to provoke the crowd, and to provoke a yellow card from the ref.

****...

Just had to get that off my chest. And I'm sure the push Tyson gave him was far worse than the one Garath gave him... didn't fall over that easily when the ref was looking the other way...

I was thinking about deleting the whole thing before I posted it, since I know there was a couple of sentences in there that probably could have been better written! ;)
I'll just use my nationality as an excuse, as I always do when I say something stupid... And then people pity me, and send me flowers and chocolate! :)

Your use of the English language is admirable so please do not think anything otherwise. ;D

As for the 'pushing' allegation, it's true that Savage represents a number of drama queens who choose to feign injury from the slightest of bumps. It's difficult for the officials to judge the exact extent of force used and Savage is more than renowned for acting it up in the hope of a booking for the alledged assailant. It's a dirty trick and one officials should be wise to.

2 - Have you ever been pushed away? I have never seen her like this
3 - Have you ever been pushed into a pool with all your clothes on?
4 - Have you ever been pushed around in a wheelbarrow?
and #8 - “Have you ever been to Liverpool?”

You still need to send me flowers for making fun of me. You hurt my feelings with your sarcasm, and I will now sail into the undying lands...

It doesn't really matter how much force is being used... it's impossible to fly away like that after a "push" ;)
He's a cheat... An embarrassment to the sport

You're right, of course, only we see all too often on TV highlights, typically Premiership/International football, the dramatic antics shown by some footballers in an effort to get their opponents into trouble. I think referees are becoming more wise to it and are clamping down on the offenders.

Sorry if I did offend you. :(

Savage knew he had dived and I suspect that he thought the ref was coming for him for simulating which is why he got off sharpish.

As anyone got a video of this incident? It wasn't on the BBC Highlights or anywhere else??

It was on the Football League Show, which should still be on iPlayer.

Hi I'm new here.

I completely agree that Savage totally dived I watched the incident on the BBc and they were trying to make out he had been punched in the face when he had blatantly been pushed on his right shoulder. He is a cheating ram, who can't even dive convincingly. But in the same incident he can lie all over our team like he was trying to get a bit of bum! Scum bag!

Anytime sugarlips.

While we're on the subject, I cried whilst watching Juno and X Faxtor this weekend, but I also killed an aggressive otter. I'm just that kind of guy.
