embarrassingly CC tried to sign him a good 6 weeks ago-ish, it was quite well publicised because the Welling manager advised him not to make the move due to him needing more experience and the joke was around about a non league player rebuffs NFFC!

Well, now you mention all that, it makes more sense. Its just I thought he was advised not to go in to league football because he wasn't ready, not because he wasn't going to get regular football. It's a big step up from playing non-league football, to be playing first team football in league 1.The Congo Red said:
