Ask 'em for proof of posting....

cheers mr flagman didnt think of that one, I suppose without proof of posting they will have to replace them.

There have been a lot of delays to the postal service because of postal strikes.

You're welcome...

...but I hadn't considered that factor.

In an ideal world, they'd know what number tickets they sent you and it would be child's play to intercept them at the turnstiles if they were used, and in the meantime give you replacement ones.

But this is "Customer Service Kings" Nottingham Forest Ticketing we're talking about here.

Not that it will help you get to the game, but how did you pay for the tickets? (Please tell me it was on Credit Card...)...

unfortunatly the site would accept my credit card, so had to use my debit card will have to try and give then a ring at somepoint in the morning, I will be gutted if I miss the game as have been looking foward to it all week.

Hmm. That, once again, sucks.

What have Forest said to you about it?

tbh they where everything you would expect, unhelpfull and couldnt give a damn it was quite simply a case of we sent them we have fullfilled our duty, what do you expect us to do about it in as many words. but I was advised to take it up with royal mail and speak to them in the morning

There has been strike action this week, when you ring the post office ask them if they have been affected by it.

Only other advice is to ask them if it is possible to check if there is mail there for you.

Hmm.

Hopefully it's just a small delay cos of the strikes. If they don't turn up, however, I'd pursue the proof of postage route. If they can't prove when or to whom they posted them, they cannot argue against your standpoint that "well, you haven't posted them then. Give me my tickets (and a refund on postage, you robbing bastards!) "

Ultimately it's a seller's duty to ensure that the buyer gets his goods, just like on eBay.

yeah asked them that today but we have had mail every day this week pluss all the mail at work has been spot on (but we do pay over £1k a week for that ) wish id had them sent to work and not home now,

I ordered mine on Saturday and got them Wednesday. I rang the ticket office though to say I was concerened about the strike and they said if I haven't got them to ring back today and they'll sort it out so I'd definitely get in, so they should do the same for you.

Can't they ring ahead and put replacements at the ticket office at Peterborough?

Or is it not possible due to it being unreserved standing?

I'd think it more likely to be impossible due to Posh's ticket office staff being so bad that they make those at the City Ground look like the most helpful staff the world has ever seen.

Why are Peterborough called Posh?

When the team were founded, they ran an advert a recruitment advert in the lcoal press, looking for "Posh players for a Posh team". So that became their nickname.

No-one quite knows why the person placing the add wanted posh players, or a posh team....but there you go.

So its not because Barry Fry takes it up the ratter then?

Port Outward, Starboard Home, perhaps they have a similiar thing were you could move so the sun wasn't in your eyes?
