Given McAtee's performance yesterday, I'm relaxed about whether there is another one in midfield.
McAtee was brilliant and I like him. But we need more strength and options IMO

That'll be why they were in a position to call off our deal then.Ndiaye off to Spurs with Richarlison going the other way
Ndiaye off to Spurs with Richarlison going the other way
I agree. Was happy with Armstrong because he was a genuine long term signing. I wonder whether we will continue to sign one.Given McAtee's performance yesterday, I'm relaxed about whether there is another one in midfield.
Not a fan of saying "no chance" but this is surely as close to it as you can be, the board can't be seen to be backing the supporters wishes only to flip again but this time after selling Ndiaye. That'd be suicide.Wouldn’t say this is over yet. Anything can happen when it comes to Forest.
This one made me laugh - they’re not happy about this eitherAnd they're complaining about that already....
"Everton put you through the ringer"
Not hard enough for me, f***ers have been screaming to taste the Championship numerous times and somehow always managed to escape. Thats the ringer.
They will regret that. Everton do love their strikers that don't many score goals. They seem obsessively drawn to them.Ndiaye off to Spurs with Richarlison going the other way
To be fair not that comparableInteresting that the main point for Everton fans is that this would lose “one of their own”. Whilst we have a few fans more than willing to see Yates go.
The only way this happens now is if we up the bid and Everton announce a signing the fans rate with the proceeds. That the clear profit would help balance their books isn't enough for the fans so I very much doubt it'll happen.
Though I do wonder if Armstrong's stance may have an impact. He was clearly up for it and you'd think he's in a strong position to demand more playing time from Moyes. But he's an old fashioned manager with little time for player histrionics. Wonder if Harrison may look at the demise of Dibling's career under Moyes and think he's holding him back too much.
Yeah I just did a very fast edit before this reply to add that in, I thought he was up for it.Well from what I heard on TalkSport this morning they are reporting the player did not want the move.
Wad discussed on TalkSport just now.
Everton sanctioned and agreed in writing yesterday morning prompting Forest to book a medical today (Sunday).
Combination of the player not wanting the move, Moyes and fan backlash prompts u-turn following the game.
It's as dead as dodo.
Fair enough if they've listened to the fans but the player "Not wanting the move" is pretty much them trying to save face, the fee was agreed AND personal terms agreed which is why the medical was booked.Well from what I heard on TalkSport this morning they are reporting the player did not want the move.
Not sure I understand why that is more comparable, but not a hill to die on.To be fair not that comparable
It is more comparable to us selling Johnson when Brentford bid £6m for him in the Championship
True, but Everton can be very Forest-esque so that’s why there’s that tinge of doubt/hope in my mind! Not a fan of saying "no chance" but this is surely as close to it as you can be, the board can't be seen to be backing the supporters wishes only to flip again but this time after selling Ndiaye.
