Don't think Billy will forgive him for letting him down at the last minute and then joining Wolves so can't see anything happening with this. Prefer Dexter anyway.

Marlon Harewood wanted to come to Forest, he has very strong links to the area, still attends Forest games when he gets the chance ( As a fan ).
Wolves matched the wages of Marlon from Villa for the short period he was there. So Villa allowed him to go to Wolves, not his chosen destination Forest.

I'd prefer Dexter also, although Marlon would be a bonus. He's a tall player who could be an understudy for Dex.

Everyone at Forest loved him 5 minutes ago. I didn't have a problem with him heading to Wolves, most people would've done the same anyway. The chance to catch on with a Premiership team is a good bonus. Sadly, it didn't work out.

I was told a while ago (a long time before this embargo and by a very reliable source) that Marlon would never return to forest.

Thanks Dan, that one actually came from the horses mouth. I know a person who actually joins him occasionally in the Main Stand when he comes to Forest games, drinking with him in Ratcliffe on Trent the other night.
When the transfer speculation was rife about Marlon joining Forest, Marlon was absolutly thrilled to bits and could not wait to come.
But business and money talk, he is after the I suppose the big final contract of his career
