Indeed was worth celebrating, just noticed the yellow snow at the end of my drive, the house must have been a step too far . . . .

Got back last night from another great trip out with Tricky Trees travel. Slight headache now, partly from the ales consumed before the game and from leaping around for the goals.
BTW - did anyone else who went feel that the stewarding and policing was completely disproportionate and provocative? Several of them seemed to have a different agenda and were hell-bent to pick on certain Forest fans. I'm considering writing a complaint letter to the West Midlands Police.

I had to be in London but I found a pub showing it. Strangely considering what I put away yesterday I'm not hungover!

Sounds like nothing has changed at the Hawthorns. Doubt if you'd get much sympathy from the West Midlands police, they were doing the same thing to us in the 70s.

Aye, they were completely over the top. I was about 6 rows from the front near the goal and several lads near me were spoken to by the Police over nothing really. They were constantly picking people out and having a word with them and yet i didn't notice any of our fans causing trouble all night. The behaviour of both stewards and police in the away end last night was disgraceful. We wouldn't get that sort of treatment if we started a riot at Derby!

Mr A Webb RRRREDUN name him and shame him but to be honest i did move

from where you was stood because there were a few more intrested what the

baggies fans were doing rather than the magic that was on the pitch.

Agree about the trip though ;D and a forest legend on board as well

I f***ing LOVE FOREST.
I love supporting the team that I grew up with.
That team made me so proud last night.
If we never win again, feeling like I do right now makes all the crap so worthwhile.
Alan Rogers, Yeovil, Megson, Dadi, Kinnear.... it all melts away like the snow.

WE are second in the League and we'll soon be at the top. I learnt that song in 1967 when I was 5.

Bring it back.

We are Nottingham and I am so f***ing proud of that.

agreed, even 1 steward stopped a little lad getting his programme sign by camp during the warm up, all credit to camp though he came over and told the steward he was gonna sign his programme, it`s nice to see players that are down to earth and care about the fans...as for the police they just wanted something to kick off

Rather sensibly, I decided to have to have a pint of water with on of those Barrocha tablets in it.

Feel perfect this morning, so may well try that little trick again!

i managed to drink 7 cans of guiness just during the match then moved on to gin. Absolute cracker of a headache still. I might have to start drinking earlier tonight.

You're right Bestwood - we have some silly boys who spend their time taunting rather than enjoying. My point was that these fans can easily get drawn into scrapes with the 'authorities', especially if they (the police) are hell-bent on making their presence felt. Most of our fans misbehaviour was nothing worse than a bit of gentle taunting. For me, it didn't spoil my evening - it was just something going on in the corner of my eye. BTW - I'd like us to go to Direby and ignore their fans - just let our team do our talking and let's us just get behind OUR team. Sammy, Sammy - I'd walk a million miles for one of your smiles, my Sammy!!! ;D
