Guy Moussi, attacking threat?

Gary

No wonder my post count..
It's funny how Billy mentions chipping in '5 or 10 goals' when I don't think any of our strikers have any of that between them already!

When you're only playing one out and out striker it's vital the midfielders chip in.

For me, when you play a midfield three, it's ok to have one playmaker, and one defensive midfielder. The other one of the three needs to combine the two and be the box to box player. That's where Moussi fit's in - and potentially McGugan too if he can up his work rate.

Hmm. Can't really see McKenna getting 5-10 goals, or Billy being angry about it if he didn't...

I don't think McGugan has the engine nor desire to be a "box to box" player.

Good point, although if McKenna actually shot when it fell to him outside the box i think he could get a few a season.

Moussi is certainly the type of player to be able to get these odd goal here and there. He has all the ability for a box-to-box midfielder.

Guy can and should be decent box to box. McGugan is an attacking midfielder, an impact midfielder and a developing midfielder who could get complacent. Just like Majewski. At least we have competition in that spot, not forgetting Cohen and McGoldrick can also play there.

I agree goatboy. Lewis is everything you say. Let's hope the competition for midfield places keeps a fire lit under his ass and the complacency stays away. The Moose has been great since his return. Great things are ahead for this midfield.
