Sounds like if Spurs will let him come back next season he will.

Blackstock is a must, so it Rob Jones and Lynch!

Midland Red said:Although to be fair, there really is no space for Anderson at Liverpool. Largely on the grounds that he is a) British and b) not a player they've spent huge amounts of money on.
Paul is a fantastic player and frankly he's being wasted at a club like that. Sooner or later he'll have to make the decision all Liverpool back-up players do. Stay on higher wage and live out as many years as you can before they release you or find another club.
If he took the latter I doubt any Forest fand would not welcome him here. He has been nothing shoert of brilliant here this year.

Randy Bumgardener - A True American Hero said:Spot on ! If anyone he needs to speak to Chris Cohen. A player with a very bright future at Wet Sham, but couldn't reslly break in. A few years dropping down the divisions and he's back on the up. No doubt will be a regular Premiership player within a year or 2 ! Then again there are so many. Alan Shearer is probably the best example !
tom1990 said:If I'm not mistaken, Cohen was only 16 when he first played for West Ham, which is a great achievement in itself. I think I'm right in saying that he was only let go because of the poor financial situation at West Ham and not because he couldn't break in. He had already achieved that, and from experience, anyone who breaks through at the age 16 is pretty special. I get the point you are making though.
Back on the Gunter topic, I think if we can loan him for the whole of next season and achieve promotion or a top 6 finish he would seriously consider joining us on a permanent deal. Looking at the full backs at Spurs, it is going to be pretty tough for him to displace Hutton, Corluka and Chimbonda. The same goes for Anderson. If players like Pennant are deemed surplus to requirements and shipped out, what chance does he have?
