He's got a number of teams finishing in the same position.. He thinks Derby will finish above us!?! I know we've made no signings but Derby have signed L2 players.

Four Four Two Magazine should be out this week with their Season preview of all the team which is a very good read.

Donny should be up there if Billy ever did leave O'Driscoll would me my choice to take over.He has created a decent side there which is built around Brian Stock.

Makes me laugh Re Ipswich "we have wasted money on Lee Martin" now theirs a surprise.

Those predictions on promotion/relegation all differ wildly. Just shows that a fans concern is their team and sod how the others in the league are doing. We've been put down as favourites to go up by a few on there, but they're going purely on us being 3rd last year. They don't know (or care) that we've had a rather indifferent summer.

Basically, if you want a decent pre-season write up, get just the one person knowledgeable in our league to do it. Otherwise you get 24 fans moaning that their club hasn't signed anyone.

Cardiff, Coventry, Crystal Palace, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Pompey, Sheffield United & Swansea have all backed us to get promoted.

No one's backed Derby.. What a suprise!

I saw Don Goodman on SSN earlier talking about the promotion candidates in the Championship. He didn't really have a clue (outside of backing the bookies favourites).

I saw that, I like Don as he does at least try and do a bit of homework on Championship teams - but he did name about 10 promotion candidates!

There probably are at least 10 credible promotion candidates. Few would've picked us to be ever challenging the top two last season.

Don Goodman always offers an honest opinion, and unlike some pundits, does have good knowledge of the League he's talking about.

I still don't have a clue who is going to finish where; but Forest are at least good enough for a playoff place; anything else - who knows!

I really think Forest could do well.......mind you, never bet against Neil Warnock........that said, Norwich have momentum.....but middlesborough have made some good signings......and if Leeds carry on a good start.......though the experience of Burnley and Brian Laws from the Premiership......
