If Nottingham Forest miss out on Nicky Shorey, expect Ex Leicester and current Leeds outkast, Alan Sheehan to sign.

There will be a quite a bit of comings and goings at the City Ground over the next 2 weeks.

INS: Bale, Dos Santos, Shorey, Wilshere

OUTS: Garner, Davies, Tyson

Billy Davies has also made enquiries on:

Senderos, Kilgallon, Smith, Healey, Papac and Naylor.

The execs at Nottingham Forest are going to be the biggest spenders outside the prem. Although I am told 2 of the signings will only be loans until Premier League status is achieved.

Obvious healthy dose of salt and all, but apart from Dos Santos, all of those names are Davies type players, if that makes sense?

Can't see Tys or Garner going - unless Joe was off out on loan

As for the "Ins"; I'd love Shorey to be signed, either on loan or (preferably) on a permanent deal. Bale I'm not so sure about; a good player, but Shorey is a better defender.

Can't see us going for Dos Santos; we've currently better options, and I can't help but feel he's still dining out on being "Former Barcelona player Dos Santos".

Wilshere - hasn't he said he'd want to stay in the Premier League?

wenger has said he'd send wilshere to a top championship club and at the end of the day i'm sure it would be more wenger's decision than wilshere's . i couldn't see jw saying no if arsene suggested going to whoever. personally i don't think he'll come to forest (burnley were strongly linked) but he's too good to turn down if we did get the opportunity.

This is a GPR remember (poo rumor). I think besides all the Blackstock and Gunter rumours, the only one that hit the mark was Shorey.
