Personal tragedy which affected his performances. I would have thought there is no chance of this happening.

I was waiting for a bus when a young guy in a soft-top Mercedes pulled up alongside me and asked for directions to the City Ground. I pointed him on his way and thought I recognised him from somewhere.

I picked up a copy of the Evening Post as I was wandering round town later that day and there he was... Nigel Quashie!

So basically, I'm sorry, I gave him directions to the City Ground when he signed.

Quashies move came at totally the wrong time ! For him anyway. From what I remember he had some very bad personal issues happen to him at the same time, part of the move was for him to have a new start in a different area. Although I always wondered what he would look like with hair, I always picture Wes Brown :ph34r:

Bearing in mind he used to play for us I would have thought he would know his way to the CG.

I meant first time round...

But bearing in mind he'd played football before you'd think he knew where the goal was, but alas not, hence him bieng nicknamed "Farwide" by every around me when I used to sit in the lower BC, so let's not rule anything out ;D
