"PNE fan here, big news on the way regarding the club.

In terms of transfers, the main one is Paul McKenna heading out to Nottingham Forest. Pretty much done deal just negotiating the fee.

The replacement is the interesting part.

The big rumour is that Fergie is sending hotly tipped youngster Darron Gibson to PNE for a season–long loan. This is expected to be confirmed after McKenna's departure.

Also arriving will be Lee Williamson with the McKenna money, and a new striker – Irvine is interested in Derek Riordan and Joe Garner from Forest. One of these two will arrive, and Neil Mellor will be sold to Barnsley."

If Lee Williamson is available for McKenna money I would rather we signed him. I rate him. I don't mind McKenna either though.

Would hope not and doubt it based on Billy's comments of him being a prospect for the future but you never know.

Then again it is a poo rumour and must be taken with a fist full of salt.

Wouldn't bet on that one...inside track from this end is that Fergie is desperate for Fergie Jnr to take Gibson to London Road for the year, stumbling block is that Gibson turned Posh down last year as he was only interested in playing in the Championship and Fergie Jnr is holding a grudge...

Garner aint going anywhere.

If any striker goes it will be Tyson. He is injured too much and I think we should get rid while we can. If we get McGoldrick and Blackstock or Evans or who ever else we are after to replace him then I will be all for it.

Earnshaw and Garner/McG/Dex/Dele/Ched. Any of them would be an awesome partnership.

Garner top Preston will only happen if we land Dexter.

Should that happen and If he was to go there it on loan we will have Earnshaw, Blackstock 1st choice with Adebola, Tyson and possibly McGoldrik as backup.
