The Newcastle owners have done a great job since going in, they seem like shrewd operators much like the Man City guys so far which isn't what I expected.

Makes me laugh they are playing the FFP card already to try and play down spending, they could spend fortunes if they wanted because Ashley was a tight bastard for years. I think only Spurs were allowed to spend more under FFP for the same reasons.

Yup, they talked about Man City being the model. Establish themselves as a top half team with good players, sign the odd gem and build over time.
