Goal of the Season

Resident foodie!
The Official Site and Forest World are now running the annual Goal of the Season competition and are offering supporters the chance to win a laptop if their vote matches the most popular goal.

There are some crackers there, and it's quite easy to forget how many good goals we have scored this season.

Both of Tyson's that feature and both of Garner's would be worthy winners, as would Chris Cohen's against Derby.

I'm going to have to think for a while longer before I vote as I'm still not sure who I think should win!

The pick of the bunch is Garner v Southampton for me.

Tyson against Man City and McGugan against Reading make up the rest of the top three.

I came into this thread absolutely sure that Garner's was the best, but you know, Lewis McGugan's against Reading was really, really good. This probably sounds harsh but all Joe Garner did is score a glorified open goal. It was a wonderful opportunist's goal and everything, but I think that sort of goal is distinctly over-rated. Maybe it's just me being a ****.

Anyway, it's 7.42pm here and still light - happy days.
