Goal Of The Season So Far ?

Take your pick. It's a tough choice between Nath's against City or Joe's against Saints. But my vote has to go to Joe, purely for the amount of skill and accuracy involved !!!

Joe vs Southampton

I don't really think there's a debate here, whilst Tysons was good Joe's showed vision, cunning and a great execution.

It was nice to hear him after saying he'd noticed the fact the keeper liked to come out quite far quite often and used this to get the goal. Shows an awareness of the game around him.

I hope he doesn't go OTT against Derby as I think he plays better with a cool head on his shoulders.

I think Martin's against Watford has to be mentioned. It was a goal that doesn't belong in the Championship, as far as I'm concerned.

Garner v Saints was good, of that there is little doubt, but I think the old 'lob the keeper from far away' often gets a lot more praise than it deserves. Firstly, whilst Garner rightly gets praise for it, you have to remember that the entire situation was created by Moloney.

Tyson's finish was excellent too. It showed a great ability to strike a ball coming over his shoulder.

Tyson's (I think) against Sheff Wed was also the work of some fantastic play by McLeary.

Earnshaw's at Derby was a tremendous goal, alost exclusively because of the level of cool needed to turn where he was.

I think Joe's gets the nod for me because it was a league game aswell. If there were points available against City then I may consider changing it !

Whilst it did go in, he loses points for me, for not passing it to Moloney who had made a storming run.

Joe Garner for Norwich by a mile!

Diving header from edge of the box right into the bottom corner leaving the keeper no chance.

Described on Soccer AM as the best headed goal ever... just a shame it was at the wrong end.

I think for quality and technique it is between Tyson v City and Garner v Saints but i think my favourite is Earnie v Derby cos it was a great turn and finish and it was against Derby and meant a lot to him to score against them

Tyson's was out of the blue for me as soon as it was up in the air, I thought f**k it's over! He proved me wrong and I was so pleased he did, what an awesome goal it was and sparked scenes which will last for a long time.

Garners vision and quality was shown with his finish. At first, I thought it was over and was on top of the net. As Rich has stated it was basically Maloney's goal, all the work he did for the build was tremendous. Also I got bragging rights around Southampton, which is always fun.

Earnie's was good. Not the best, but it meant a lot to him and to all the fans especially as it was scored in front of us. Amazing celebrations.

Best Own Goal. JOE GARNER without a doubt, what an amazing header, that was out of the blue. Any striker would be proud to put it in the right end. He beat the 'unstoppable' Camp. I think Smith would have saved it though, he would have been on his line.

All goals pale in comparison to the Simon Cox's goal against Walsall. He's the new Joe Garner.

That was incredible!

Imagine if Bergkamp did that in a world cup, they'd talk about it for all eternity.

I did something similar a few years back. I was playing left back but my man had ran across the edge of the box towards the right and I followed him. The ball was crossed and I managed to get there just in front of him. Shame it ended up right in the top corner though. Best goal I've ever scored.

My mate that is a complete footballing guru, brought him to my attention while he was at reading and have been following him since. He's a very good player and could easily make the step up to the CCC preferbly with us. Would have him rather than anyone else in that league.
