Globe on Sunday

Rich

Rice IV
Quite possibly the worst pun, but it reminded me of Goals on Sunday.

Need to remember that if you need to explain it, it's not funny.

Anyway, after some extensive discussion about certain cliques appearing/forming on here, I thought it would be prudent to extend an open invite to everyone on the board to join some of us in the pub on Sunday to watch the game.

Following the game we'll be hot footing it down to the Speakeasy for some pub quiz action, so if you're feeling intelligent and like free beer, or indeed enjoy getting your kit off for free beer, absolutely anyone is welcome to join us. Be warned, though, we are reigning champions, and still technically undefeated in the Speakeasy quiz. Also be warned, you WILL see someone do a mangina if you come along. It won't be me, but it might be Kezz.

So, back to the point in hand. Associated LTLF masses (about 5 of us) who aren't making the trip to Wales will be inthe globe from some point after lunchtime and would love to be joined by as any of you on here as possible. You can put names tofaces, drink some beer, cheer on the reds and even have a debate on the merits of Paul Smith with me, if you fancy it.

Would be grand to meet some more people from here.

Rich, I'm watching this at home mate. Had a big falling out with Little Chris over the "Guiness Incident" and can't bear to even look at him at the moment, let alone embark on the usual away-game-on-bbc-topless-wrestling-match.

For what its worth I've voted for the TBI as I'm pretty sure Little Chris will get asked I.D and have to go home. (The anger runs deep this time). I still don't understand why he took it to heart, I thought one night with his Mrs Chris for one pint of Guiness was a fair price. Ok, ok maybe I should have given him the pint.

Anyway, enjoy the game

Shame on you Richard. :p

Let's have our own football party in your living room, Tutts!

Unless the 6 sofa spaces are already taken? I can sit on the floor.

I used to know someone in REME, he told me that he never had so much 'fun' in his life when he was in, and that was 15 years ago

I may well pop along to The Globe for this one. Nice thinking Mr Crouch. It'll be nice to finally meet you Rich. I've heard a lot about you.

Also, it'll be nice to finally meet Alex.

I may not be able to come along to the pub quiz afterwards, but then I'm sure I'd be rubbish at it anyway. I do not wish to be in any way responsible for the undefeated run coming to an end!
