Glen identified?

The 63-year-old fan last missed a league match on September 29, 1973, when he was 28, to be usher at a close friend's wedding.

Glen would never miss a match! This fellah is clearly just a part-time fan.

I fail to believe that Glen would have let a little thing like a banning order prevent him from getting to the Millwall game in 2002.

I reckon he would have worn his colours proudly and told Millwall fans in no uncertain terms that they are "soft as sh*te." In fact, he probably bought the club off Theo Paphitis for that one game so as he could be there. Afterall, a couple of million pounds isn't that much money when you're a real fan.

BRILLIANT - my new hero!

Will that ever be beaten? I doubt it!

This is brilliant. My Man Utd housemate was loving that they had a fan who'd made 1,000 straight games (no mean feat in itself) and was using it as a rebunk to my 'Man Utd don't have proper fans' wind-up. Suck on this.

This guy is awesome, he always ends up sitting near me at away games as I get my tickets through the supporters club too.

You always see him with his folder and note-pad writing down everything that has happened in the game, he's great.

Well done to you Sir. :1st: :airkiss:

Not that im knocking Ebby's dedication, but how come Ebby seems to be "infamous" amongst Forest supporters, when this guy is proberbly themost dedicated fan of any club in the country.

He looks like he washes as well, so I like him more :)

Some find him a touch embarrassing, and he was guilty of some slightly inappropriate behaviour at White Hart Lane a few years ago (along with a few hundred others).

Personally I think he's a good sport. He and his wife are friendly and provide much entertainment. In terms of dedication, what he does is unparalleled and deserves nothing but respect.

I'd say that most supporters who know of Ebby look up to him. The internet can be misleading.
