If they have any sense they'll rank fans on away attendances. Away season ticket holders obviously get first dibs, then work down based on games attended.

I'm not sure what Scunny's attendances have been like lately, but if their fate is decided by then and there isn't anything for them to play for then I could well imagine they'll seek to get an enhanced pay day and open up more of the ground for Forest fans.

Away members will get second choice on this.

If there is anything riding on this one then it won't even reach season ticket holders.

Forest will have to..
Away Season Ticket Holders,
Away Membership with 6 or more (for instance),
Away Membership with 4 or more etc etc.

This would be the fairest way i suppose, or just do it from when the away membership was purchased.
Mine was purchased just after i got my season ticket, but im not banking on getting a ticket what with all the away members now, and especially the way Forest sort out ticket allocation.

Ive said this to my mates up Scunny (where i work) i can see it going to the last game, with Scunny needing a draw or win to stay up, and Forest needing a win to go up.
It doesnt bear thinking about does it?

:(

If they have any sense

Winnits - this is FOREST's ticket office we're talking about...

Since when did you start associating the word "sense" with them?! lol

If there's something riding on this game, i'd imagine thousands of Forest will be travelling, irrespective of weather they have tickets or not.

Taking into account our recent away form though, i shouldn't imagine anything will be on the line come the final day! :(

good chance i will be on sky aswell if theres something riding on it

Yeah, this is my one hope (as I'm only a measly member). It will be on TV though if there is a chance we can go up, especially so if Scunny are also not safe (not improbable). Imagine the atmosphere in Southbank for that!

As has already been mentioned, if Scunny are either already down or safe, it will be interesting to see how Scunny manage the situation. I have never watched Forest away in the home end before, but would definitely make an exception in this case. However, they might restrict who can buy tickets in the home end - I don't have a Nottingham post code, but they might be very sceptical of/flat out refuse to sell tickets to those who do and are buying tickets in the home section.

It can't be hard, they have the data. I could do that job.

I don't agree with that, Forest have all the data they need.

just remembered my boss lives in scunny so I will have a good chance of getting tickets for home end if all else fails.

They cannot sell away memberships on the promise of priority over season ticket holders for away games then disallow it for a certain game.

If we're looking odds on for the play-offs many may well give this one a miss and save cash for the play-offs.

No, unfortunately they can't really.

They can prioritise away members by games attended / date of joining the scheme though.

Newcastle and Sheff Wed have had 2,200 ish at Scunny this year, which isn't a lot but better than 1,600.

Blackpool's new stand will be open by the time we play them which should allow for a bigger away allocation.

The plans already there it just needs implementing

Away Ticket Sales
Ticket Sale 2009-2010 Season

For information on official coach travel scroll to bottom of page

With the recent demand for away tickets the club would like all supporters to be aware that the club uses the following method for the allocation of away tickets.

Away Ticket Allocations:

- First Priority Away Season Ticket Holders
- Second Priority Away Members
- Please note allocation of tickets to Away Members may be prioritised further by the number of away matches attended during the current season.

- The club reserve the right to cease the sale of away memberships during certain periods of the season.
- Third Priority Season Ticket holders
- Please note allocation of tickets to Season Ticket holders maybe prioritised further by the number of away matches attended during thecurrent season.
- Fourth Priority NFFC Members
- Fifth Priority General Sale
The club may also need to conduct a ballot if ticket allocations can not be decided by the number of matches attended.

I'd have thought we could have put a big screen up at the city ground to beam the game back.

They won't do it, not so much the cost of the screen and staff etc, more so the cost of having to sort the ptich out afterwards. Or so they say!

When there are no games after it, it could be different, though.

When I asked about a screen for the Derby game, they said it was cost prohibitive because Derby wanted too much to pass on the game etc.

This might be different. There could be anything up to 15,000 that will want to see it. I'd travel up to Nottingham to sit and watch it!

Hopefully there won't be as far as we're concerned, what with finishing 2nd and not having to worry about the play-offs, however, if we didn't finish 2nd there would be the small matter of the play-off semi, oh, and the women's FA Cup Final the day after the Scunny game!
