Formal bid for Molina from Roma now apparently. I'd say if Feyenoord have identified Davis Okopu as the replacement for Read for around £8m then let's just go there because this one seems to difficult for anybody to get done.

No-one wants him 😭
Or... the situation has barely changed & it is all guff from agents & media trying to get the best deal.

I trust the club personally, it is fairly rare for us in recent years to miss out on players we genuinely want - unless the player doesn't fancy it. If we don't agree a fee & move on to someone else, the chances are we probably don't want him that badly anyway.

I didn’t see Roma paying all that.
Be interesting to see if we are all that interested now.

Glasner wants to build through the spine of the team, and based on apparent preferences to say Diomande/Reijners/Delap or a more popular CF, then that is almost nailed on as a collective ~£130m outlay.

I'd be amazed if we didn't sign a RWB though - players in that position have made up about 40% of all our transfer links this summer.

He clearly wants another one in for that role and I think the Read bids were reported after the Glasner recruitment meeting, so I am guessing he is quite high up the list.

Spence 😉

Not a bad price if correct but the scallies will be a bigger draw.

I would be amazed if they sold anyone to Liverpool for 35m - surely the minute they come in for him you tag on another 70% at a minimum? They have finished a cumulative 65 points above Spurs over the last 2 seasons ffs

But no, not a bad price in this crazy market. It seems we don't want to go much over 25m euros though by the sounds of the transfer stories so far.

As an alternative to Read, speculation that Max Aarons is available after Cherries sign Juanlu Sanchez with us among teams linked.

Would be a great signing (for Leicester).

Championship standard at best, even then he's not getting into a playoff chasing team. Should just go back to Norwich but even my Norwich supporting mates don't like him. Busted flush!

So this player has decided to stay in the Netherlands instead of coming to Forest. I don’t understand his decision as he would be playing in the best league in the world and know doubt have a massive pay rise. Unless he isn’t up to the job.

Not sure he has decided that, the move to Italy collapsed and we won’t meet the asking price.

He seems resigned to staying there and happy enough that he’s got CL football to play, but that is a result of no fee being agreed really.
