I'm sick and tired of hearing the stupid comments i'm hearing from fans who could probably count the number of games they've been to on one hand over the last 5 years.

One minute thy're saying we're gods gift and we have a chance of beating Man United (if we go thru the next round etc)...the next we're worse than Weymouth as we've lost several on the bounce.

On the way back today i heard a guy say 'Its the first time ive seen Forest since Man City blah blah and the last game he probably went to was Yeovil and before then Chelsea away and before then Spurs at home in the cup....that jus epitomises it for me with half the commnets on here. Looking at the times half the commnets on here were posted most of the pople weren't even at the game!

Come back when you want to stick with Forest thru thick and thin! For example, I've lost count the number of people who said we'd only get 10k a game in League 1........WRONG!

It's because the majority of Forest Fans love the club will do anything for the club........shit happens deal with it! Get a sense of reality!

No need for that.

Some people can't get to many games.

Some people post on the forum from the game.

What really gets my goat is people who come on here with an attitude of 'I'm more of a Forest fan than you'.

After the last few seasons, you and the other 'true fans' are lucky the rest turn up when they do and without their money we'd be, well, lower.

Harry Kewell is the best fan in the world.

A bit like when Billy Davies states that "Billy Davies' record is second to none"

Couldn't agree with you more pal, i still can't understand why they put those idiots on the radio after the game, they are so thick.

What summed it up for me is the prat who thought that the second we started winning was when we got camp in and for that reason we should get him back, however we started the winning run at Man City away which was Smith's first game back in goal for the reds.

Every Forest fan could see we were poor today but so many are so un diplomatic, i mean how can they honestly hand on heart say it would be a positive move for the club if we sacked Billy Davies already, what would that achieve?

The only thing that has pissed me off under the Davies regime is his treatment of John Pemberton (Pembo being told if he now wants to come to the first team matches he must pay for a ticket.) and that he must of employed the shittest goal keeping coach i have ever seen, the bloke can't even kick the ball, he looks about 100.

the old argument about how if you haven't attended every game Forest play each season you're not a 'proper' fan. Not everyone is in the position to afford going to every match and won't allow myself to be taken advantage of by the club. Do i HAVE to buy the new shirt and merchandise each season too to have a point of view?

I agree with this completely.

You know it has been people like this thread starter that has stopped me posting more on here than I have. I have medical issues that stop me getting to the games, not even at home. Thusly I am very much an armchair fan because of this reason, but am I less of a fan? No, I don't think so. I have been pissed at the results as others, been broken by the events that have happened. Cheered during the good times, wept and grumbled during the bad times.

Just because I can't get to a lot of games like I used to, Doesn't mean I don't love the club in any less way.

He doesnt condemn armchair fans who have good reason, just says its annoying when people who havn't seen the team play think they know everything there is to know and reckon they know more than people who watch them week in, week out. Im not taking specifically about you, but i think, generally, he has a point.

100% true mate, he has had the door slammed in his on staff meetings aswell, he has also said that if Davies wasn't in charge Earnshaw would of been back playing two weeks ago, make of that what you will !

Don't get me wrong I can fully understand that and I accept that it is a part of life when it is challenging to get to games.

However, they come on here and they say "we're going down after that performance" "This guy is not good enough" and " we are rubbish" on the basis of Colin Fray's commentary or their mates opinion.

Early on in the season many on here were saying how unlucky we were against the likes of Burnley when really we were nowhere near good enough defensively to get anything out the game and that was because Colin Fray was saying how unlucky we were on the radio.

I don't mind people not going to games but I just wish people would not make judgments based on radio commentary.

i agree about the sticking by the club and i'm already preparing myself for the delights of southend etc next season as i think we've had it but i'd still go if we were in the conference as i've followed forest for 30 years, however i average about 8 games a season due to having 2 young kids which takes up a lot of my spare time, living over 2 hours away from nott'm , having to work most saturdays and also the financial costs of going to matches , do i still qualify as sticking by them or am i not "regular" enough?

in a promotion year
and the UK is about to get arse-raped with a recession

10k for less fashionable games

I will give you me as an example, i got to 4-5 games a season, there is no f***ing way I am going back to division three games, not a f***ing chance I will part with 100 quid + for that shit.

People didnt know it was a promotion season when they bought season tickets and the like
