When will this guy write a column with something interesting to say??

Everything he says is everything that we've all known for eon's or others quotations that we've read a million times.

If you read his comments from the link below please read every paragraph slowly and digest it, at the end of each paragraph ask yourself - "Haven't I heard or read that somewhere else before" because 90% is a paraphrase from what has already been in the media by someone else.

Mostly everything he does write has been a topic on here and other forums for weeks - but we are only mere supporters that are supposed to know nowt'.

I think he is nicking our material from this site - re-printing it and getting paid for our thoughts.

Birtles for some reason winds me up. I probably dislike him on the same level as mushrooms, chavs and Baileys. Think you are spot on with his 'writing' skills, but I somehow think he is clever. . . . . . . I wish I was paid a fair bit to write other people thoughts and then appear on Sky speaking the same crap.

I know he scored a fair few goals for us but he is a bit of a tit.
 
It's that slightly whining tone to his voice that gets me. Maybe that's why Cloughie chucked him off the bus that time.
 
His views merely fulfill a space-filling requirement for the NEP.

When he was on the Century/Heart phone-in he regularly quoted the views of his Forest season ticket-holding next-door neighbour. He probably does the same these days through his 'column'.
 
He is such a dick! It makes me sad that i can call a member of Forests European Cup winning squad a dick, but its the truth. How he commentates on Sky is beyond me!
