Pff! The bump of this thread got my hopes up! And now for the rest of you!

Indeed. I got caught with that too.

Posts with "any update" in them belong in another thread, with a daft picture.

Shame we didn't get him eh?

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has tipped versatile defender Gareth Bale to be one of football's greats.
The Wales international was forced to deputise in midfield for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final at Fulham after injuries ruled out Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley.
Despite the clash ending in a goalless draw, Bale was a constant threat at Craven Cottage and the Spurs boss admits he's been indispensable since returning to the side in January.
"Gareth is playing superbly, he's been in great form," Harry told the club's official website.
Outstanding

"I didn't want to shift him from the left-back position because he's been outstanding there but we didn't have many spare bodies at Fulham.
"He can play wide left or left-back anyway, he can do both jobs and he was a real threat. He's in great form and is full of confidence."
Bale's displays against Bolton earned him the EON Player of the Round for the fifth round of the tournament.
While admitting the 20-year-old is already an asset to the North London club, Redknapp is confident he has an even brighter future ahead of him.
Terrific

"He's got bigger and stronger and people forget he's still only a young lad," he said.
"He's toughened up a lot, his attitude is stronger, he's physically stronger, mentally stronger and he has terrific ability, pace, a great left foot - he's got everything.
"I think he will go on to be one of the best left-backs or left-sided players in the modern game."
Spurs will welcome Fulham to the Lane on 24th March as both sides bid for an FA Cup semi-final clash against Portsmouth at Wembley.

Harry for the record has been forced into this... There is no more money to spend at Spuds and the board have already told him to make further cut backs to the wage bill and will not sanction any large transfers unless players are sold to balance it...

Expect the Russian to be out in the summer probably back to his home land for a decent fee, and Keane to be back but told he has no future.

Board are keeping a very close eye on the events along the south coast and don't want a repeat in North London!

You have to question Redknapps judgement there. Some of our learned members reckoned he was overrated! lol

Every time I see him now (live) or on MOTD I can't help thinking - IF!!!

I don't think he can play any better than he's doing now - He's awesome.
