Games in hand played...

Now the teams around us are level on games played, how do people feel about the last two matches? Interesting that Derby are slding with a cheeky Charlton and a tougher Watford to come. Imagine if it happened though... just imagine. Oh, sweet joyous rapture!

One thing's for certain - we want six points, we very much want three from Blackpool, because my heart can't hack the final day swinging about all over the place like last season. And there's so many more permutations wiht six points to play for and five very random teams in it.

16 Watford 44 10 6 6 39 31 4 4 14 23 38 -7 52
17 Blackpool 44 5 7 10 24 32 7 9 6 21 25 -12 52
18 Derby 44 8 7 7 30 26 5 5 12 23 38 -11 51 <- *****
19 Plymouth 44 7 5 10 30 33 6 6 10 13 22 -12 50
20 Nottm Ft 44 7 7 8 24 27 5 6 11 22 36 -17 49
21 Barnsley 44 8 6 8 27 23 4 6 12 15 33 -14 48
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
22 Norwich 44 9 5 8 35 26 3 5 14 20 38 -9 46
23 Southmp 44 4 9 9 21 27 6 5 11 22 37 -21 44
24 Charlton 44 5 8 9 29 36 2 7 13 19 35 -23 36

It is getting a bit hair thinning now.

reading have secured a play-off spot tonight against the sheepys....

which means foot off gas against norwich which is bad news for us.

Ive got a bloody exam on Thursday.. ive hardly been able to revise over the Easter break because of how things have turned out.

The only thing keeping me going is Blackpool away this saturday.. hope my addiction to Forest won't stop me getting my degree though!

I feel pretty certain both Norwich and Southampton will lose their next game, we'll only need a point and we can (and will) get it against Blackpool.

I'd love the Sheep to go down but I can't see that many results going against them

maybe wolves will be in holiday mode as well when they play barnsley considering their goal difference is +10 better than brums so they're champions barring a miracle.

You'll be fine guys!

4 points at least.

Reading would probably want to ensure 3rd or 4th so at home 2nd in the play-offs although not sure how important that is now!

No, the BBC always forget to mention it, you have to add it in yourself. I have emailed them, but typical BBC I didn't get anything back. And what with all that licence fee they carge, and all....

The playoffs could be a bit strange this year. You normally have a team that comes flying up in the last few weeks of the season and sneaks in at the last minute. they are normally the team that everyone wants to avoid. It might still happen this season but after Burnley beat the Blunts im not sure it will. I think Reading will want to finish as high as possible and probably steer clear of Cardiff

momentum for the playoffs

You say that but when we were last in the Championship Playoffs, the last league game of the season was against Rotherham and we put out what could only be described as a weakened side to rest players for the Playoffs.

Reading still have very faint glimmer of hope for second place. It's very unlikely but while it's mathematically possible I reckon it's fair to assume they'll go for it.

Not push the hope boat out too far but should all the results go 'OUR' way then D**by will go down, us to win 1 of our next 2, Norwich to win their last 2, Plymouth to win their next and Barnsley to beat Plymouth last game of the season.

And of Course the shaggers to lose thier next 2.

As Mr Keegan once said, 'I woulkd love it, love it, love it............'

To be honest I don't really want the to go down as games against them are one of the highlights of the season

I think I'd rather Norwich lost to Reading, sweet as it would be to see the sheep relegated.

Yeah you must mean the 4 points they took off us this season in the league! Let's be right, if they go down we'll all laugh our socks off :D

To be fair to "Auntie Beeb" she is has always supported the rights of even the most extreme and bizarre fringe minority groups. Therefore she is hardly going to highlight the fact that a degenerate and twisted bunch of overt sheepshaggers who wear sheep masks and play at GayPride Park are in reality simply CNUTS! ;D

To be perfectly honest, I don't care what happens as long as we win on Saturday.

Norwich may well beat Reading - although I doubt it.
