Ithink not.

Id say Dex and Dave

Front 2? I think, call it an educated guess, but he'll start with 3 up, like he has in the last 2 games, and those should be Tyson, Earnshaw and Adebola

What he said, as I posted in the other thread.

McGoldrick & Earnie will start then Earnie will come off at half time and Adebola will come on.

If its 2 to start, I reckon Mcgoldrick & Earnie..

If its 3, I'll chuck in Dele.

I reckon its going to be the old little and large partnership so id say Adebola or Blackstock with Earnie or Mcgoldrick, Earnies goal today was amazing so ill go for him starting.

I keep forgetting weve signed Dexter for some reason

Might well be because I don't think weve made this many summer signings in all my lifetime

Earnshaw will be a starter with Adebola/Blackstock

Billy have consistently played around with 2 pairings during the pre-season , mcgoldrick/dex & earnie/adebola , he has not altered or swap with them in any fashion , i see him likely to start with mcgoldrick/dex as mcgoldrick has done really well this pre-season with earnie & adebola likely to come on in the 2nd half.

Dex + Mcgoldrick/Earnshaw (difficult to pick between them). I prefer the thought of Adebola coming on later in the game to mix things to him actually starting. When i've seen him introduced in pre season he seems to have given the whole team a lift changing the way we play and renewing the attacking impetus. The way his presence unsettles defenders is great for when we need to change a game we are struggling to score in. I don't know why but I recon a lot of his effectiveness would be lost with him starting and defenders coming to terms with him from the begining. He wouldn't provide the same shock to the opposition I guess.

I agree with this.

Adebola and Earnshaw seems to have worked best in pre-season. Though he seems to favour Adebola off the bench.

Blackstock + Earnie perhaps with McGoldrick behind/outwide?

How does Billy even know :D

Garner and Tyson.

It's nice to have options isn't it? ;D

This time last year the question was 'Will Earnshaw and Tyson be fit enough to play Reading?'

Mcgoldrick and Earnie... McGoldrick has already silenced his critics. If only Tyson had his first touch!!!

From what I've seen of McGoldrick in pre-season, he's looked very sharp and must have played himself in to contention.

Likewise Robert Earnshaw, I think we'll see these two start and then maybe Dele coming off the bench later on.

But to be honest, who knows! And of course with the ability to have seven subs this season, Billy can have all his attacking riches ready to chuck on if needed.
