Forests training ground.

Do we still use the training ground down by the trent and whats more do we own it. The reason i ask is because every time i see coverage at training it always seems to be down the academy site on wilford lane nowdays. Personally i think it makes sense to train at the academy site as it has all facilities on hand, ie changing rooms, indoor, all weather pitches aswell as good grass pitches. The site is also massive so shouldnt restrict what the academy need to fulfill there needs. I guess it would also be good incentive for the kids to see the first team train nearby. Its just if the site by the trent is redundant, why pay to maintain it, and if we own it why not sell it. Im sure it would fetch millions for development of apartment etc etc ?

Wouldnt get that much if they sold it. Million quid max probably and that will only be conditional on planning. Not that anyone wants to build yet more apartments at the minute.

Surprisingly the one by the Trent is used for more outdoor football drills/exercises, the academy... everything else!!!
