Forest's ten-year contract with Kitbag Sports for all retail operations

as rich has said just done a search and everton top is exclusive to there club shop

Aha, that makes sense. I was looking at a few foreign shirts (obviously fake), and on the various sellers feedbacks- I noticed that by far thier biggest sellers were everton shirts. Even when they were selling real madrid, barca, man u, chelsea etc shirts....they were selling many more everton shirts- by a massive margin.

I couldnt work out why, but that would explain it. Scousers are also cheap, obviously.

Reading through this thread has reminded me that I have ÂŁ30 worth of club shop gift vouchers to spend... I bet Kitbag will be falling over themselves to honour them!!!

Nice to see our club is taking the tory policy of 'we can't be bothered to make it work so privatise it and give someone else the headache/profits'.

Hold on a minute, they're spending all this money on the shop, but arn't we moving stadiums soon?

Six years yet mate.

I'd bank on the new Kitbag Store, sorry Nottingham Forest Club Shop being open the day the new home kit is released (28th). With a 'prestige' friendly the same night, not even Forest would pass up this golden oppurtunity to sell shirts?! :dunno:

Any other club, and yes, I'd be inclined to agree. Although I woudl assume any other club would do more to get people down there for the friendly/kit launch/club shop opening. Getting the footfall is imperative to business.

However, this is Forest. Them putting these three tings together into one package would shock me.

I would have hoped for cross purchase incentivisation, to drum up more business, to be honest. Free match ticket for the Lyon game, where you can pick up your shirt if you pre-order would be the most obvious one.

Let's see what Forest come up with, as they do like to measure their pricing and products against comparable clubs. Apparently.

Kitbag approached me to house 8 - 10 members of staff for 5 weeks from the 5th of August...dont expect the Shop to be open for Lyon...and going by the budget they had to house the staff for this period then dont expect too much in terms of deals from these tightwads.....and yes, it had bothered me as to why they are sending staff here for the opening and not hired locally or used current NFFC staff....

Where from though. If the kits exclusive to kitbag, and the shops not open....will it just be online? Or maybe there'll be some sort of porta-cabin jobby, like where you used to sign up for the junior reds.

House them where?

Someone else on here actually got a job at the new shop too. Forget who, though...

Presumably the 8-10 member of staff being sent in from around the country will be experienced Kitbag trainers who will train up the locally hired managers/lackeys, to ensure we the customers aren't left being served by untrained, inexperienced and clueless staff.

What they probably haven't realised though, is that's what we've been used to for the last 20 years.

Decent customer service from the Club Shop? That would indeed be a first Congo!

I wonder if Season Ticket holders will still get a discount though - can't see it somehow!

I might email them and see what they say...

When you email them, ask them if the kits will only be available from them or from JJB/Sports direct etc.

also wonder what there stance on returns is? as my away top that is a large is about the same size as my home top that is XL, hate ordering clothes online as cant try them on to get sizes right.

this will be especially difficult if it is the new fitted range and you have top numbered as I doubt they will take numbered tops back if they dont fit

As much as a fitted top would look the business, I don't think they're designed with certain body types, like my own, in mind!

see thats the problem I have with them so wouldnt buy one online without seeing if I look like a huge red beechball
