Chris Eagles' future at Burnley appears to be in doubt given his comments towards the end of last season that he wouldn't want to return to the Championship should the Clarets be relegated.

With that relegation confirmed it was thought that would see him having played his last game for the club, but the lack of speculation linking him with other clubs since the end of the season has been noticeable.

Today, however, he has been linked with a move away, but to another Championship club with Billy Davies keen to take him to Nottingham Forest as he looks to build on a season that saw them reach the play offs before losing to Blackpool in the semi-final.

Eagles has one year remaining on his contract at Turf Moor and so Forest would have to make a sizeable offer if we were to consider allowing him to move on to a club who could well be one of our promotion rivals next season.

he comes across as a bit of big time charlie but that doesn't make him a bad player.
 
Was class in the Championship but never really did much in the Prem, so I'd doubt many prem clubs would be interested.

Would be a very good signing in my opinion. him on the right and Ando on the left would be a very pacy attack.

How much is he on? If 30k for Shorey was deemed too much, I can't see a Lambo driving former Man Utd prodigy being happy to be paid what we can offer.

Class act, though, and I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

I don't think any of our players are paid the sort of money that enables them to drive Lamborghinis.
 
All of them could afford lambos if they wanted them. Say most of them are on what 3-5k a week and then a couple on more? Can get lambos on finance for 1500-2000 a month which isnt exactly a lot for a footballer on that much a week. And im guessing when burnley got promoted he got a nice bonus too.
 
Na he signed Perm for Burnley the season they went up.
 
Yes please. I'd have him here in a minute. Very good player who got pace,skill and some wonder goals in him. get him signed if true.
