b*****ks!

I had 2 weeks booked off work leading up to the Newcastle weekend. I'm not sure if work will let me move it by a few days to cover this away trip. I'll ask tomorrow. I refuse to miss another league game before the end of the season lol

I'm planning on heading on up there, methinks :) Assuming Vegas doesn't bankrupt me :D

I'm sorry but you cannot have the trappings of new found brilliance and having it all your way. We are now top dollar billing, which means we will be on TV a lot more. TBH I am not surprised in the least...

Top of the table clash. 8)

Yes it would be if played tomorrow but by the time its officially played Newcastle might be down to 10th :p

Ruined our plans for that weekend aswell.

I'm giving it some thought, if only because I was thinking about it originally. Train tickets booked today would be around £41 return, travelling up on Monday am and returning Tuesday am. It just seems unnecessary hassle when the game is on tv though. I think I need to consult the fixture list and see when else I could make an away game.

I'd be more inclined to drive / bully Eddie into driving (which would be harsh - I reckon it's my turn :D ).

Hotel with parking..

Hmm. I'll decide after Vegas :)

I'll find out on monday if this is still on or not. The f***ers had better let me have the time off!

I'm tempted to mail a link to this thread to Sky so as they can see the chaos and misery they've caused to the vast majority of users.

I can tolerate fixture changes in exchange for money, but they REALLY should be made to plan further ahead than this so as not to cause things like wasted hotel rooms and suchlike.

I would imagine with a couple of months notice most hotel rooms should be cancellable without penalty.

I think I'll be heading up to see this game. No doubt I'll be bullied into driving there but hopefully should be worth the trip. :)

It is really, isn't it? It's frustrating if folks are out of pocket, it is annoying to have to change plans, but well, shit happens dunnit?

Ah, excellent, Stratty is driving I see... :D

I'll probably be heading up regardless, train tickets won't be too bad as I have a railcard. Or I will just bully my friend into doing the driving lol

Newcastle is meant to be a good night out on a Monday, biggest student night of the week according to my mate which will be fun :)

Yep, in my car to make it to Newcastle in time for kick off I'll be leaving about 10 minutes after the Derby game has finished. :D

You're welcome to a lift, though. I'm sure I owe you a few.

:D Sure we can work something out closer to the time.. I think we're about even on occasions but since one of my drives was Carlisle I think I'm ahead. Newcastle would put you considerably ahead though!!

To be fair the trip to Southampton wasn't that much shorter than Carlisle in terms of hours. Mainly because Tutts kept dissapearing on the way back to the city centre.

Not true if you go for the cheapest deal at Travelodge or Holiday Inn. No refunds. :( :( :( :(
