Gutted :(, had a big weekend planned. Mates wedding on the Friday, Travelling up to Newcastle on the saturday morning early doors to get pissed again and then a night out in the toon for my mates birthday.

Well hello to everyone on LTLF with this being my first post.
Soon as we went second this was on the cards, If we do move into the elite league next season there will be more of these strange kick off times to accommodate the SKY viewers, like Sunday at 4pm etc.

This has completely messed up my plans for that weekend too. I break up fom uni for easter that weekend so was gonna have my mates stay at mine in boro on the friday night and have a night out in yarm, then travel up to newcastle, watch the match then have a night on the beer in toon.

They should just rename Sky Sports - Newcastle Utd Sports Channel. Its a f***ing disgrace that they think that all football fans just want to watch Newcastle every week

Exactly that for me too. One of my best friends lives in Newcastle and it's his birthday on the Saturday.
 
Buggered my plans up as well as my friends and I intended making a weekend of it. I will struggle to go now due to work commitments. Really cheesed off
 
I for one am pleased.

Family are having a weekend away that I was missing to go to this one, seems now I can do both :)

Tis a shame though as we'd have took loads on a Saturday ...

Hopefully quite a few trickies will be able to get time off work enough to go and we can leapfrog the geordies into first place on their own ptich :)

For those of you with kids or work in education etc. This Monday is the first day of school Easter holidays so there are possibilities to make it part of a short break....... The Vicar family will be staying in Newcastle and then going on for a couple of nights in Edinburgh. ;D ;D
 
We held back on confirming plans for a weekend up there, as I expected it to be on TV.

I hoped it'd be in the Friday night/Saturday evening slot, though. :(
 
Ah well, still might go... I like the fact they call us the tricky trees though :) haven't heard that nickname in a while, we're finally tricky again :D
 
I'm sorry but you cannot have the trappings of new found brilliance and having it all your way. We are now top dollar billing, which means we will be on TV a lot more. TBH I am not surprised in the least...

Couple of days off work.

Celebrate your mate's birthday on the Saturday, go to church on sunday and then celebrate being top of the league on Monday!

Not surpriced but why couldn't it have been the 5.20 saturday teatime slot :mad:

Obviously we will sell out but I was looking forward to seeing Forest fans packing those Newcastle City Centre pubs as personally I had many mates who were going ticket or no ticket for a mad saturday all day/nighter. Can't see many wanting to do that for a Monday Night game

Completely arsed up a big birthday weekend.. had a boutique hotel booked, green lit the whole way and now the those prannocks at the league have gobbled Murdoch's satanous scaly cock at the drop of a hat.
