Hmmm!

Not sure about slush - the informed 10 day forecast (from Met Office types) indicates that even if it doesn't snow it's going to be sub-zero for a fair length of time...

Has there ever been a game postponed at the City Ground since the undersoil heating went in? (I know the Spurs cup tie was abandoned, but not postponed)

EDIT: I should add, because of weather, not any other reason.

The Health and Safety Crew only need one patch of ice on a stairwell to postpone the game. The pitch can be in perfect nick, but thats irrelevant in the barmy world of high viz and clip boards. ;D

This is far too big a game and money spinner so I imagine the club will do whatever it takes to ensure that both the pitch and the ground are fully clear of snow and ice. :brr: :brr: :brr:

We are talking about Forest here! The same club that cant organise a decent pint of beer. If it was postponed the rearranged game would surely attract TV and the dosh that comes with it?

There is a limit to how many FA Cup matches can be televised so that theory is already blown out of the water.

As if I wasn't bricking it enough that I might not be able to get away from work, now I've got the worry that even if I get away I might get snowed in and stuck in north bloody Yarkshire!

I can remember walking on both the Trent and the Grantham Canal on the same day.

A cup tie v West Brom was abandoned due to fog rolling in over the Trent End, many years ago. Anyone else recall this?

Lets be honest our thin squad coupled with injuries and suspensions could perhaps do with a favour from the heavens? A chance to regroup and get some bodies back into action.

I was pretty confident of doing direby a few days ago. Not so sure now with additional players potentially missing? :brr:

PLEASE LET IT SNOW.

Even though I have bought a ticket the chances of me being able to go are so slim to make an anorexic look fat, so Snow and lets have a postponement
