Forest v Chelsea.

The Forest academy side play Chelea in the 4th round in the FA Youth Cup at home after Chelsea beat Charlton 2-1 this evening.

Don't know of any dates yet or whether it will be played at the City Ground or not, but would like to go along if possible.

I'm not so sure.

Some of his behaviour recently has been quite appalling.

So it's of absolutely no interest to you that our youth team is about to play one of the richest clubs in the world?

I for one will be interested in the result because we'll be comparing ourselves to the best.

Someone was always going to post something about this game. It just happens to be PSR.

Why the downer?

It will be played at the City Ground, somewhere around the 16th January.

Fully agree here.

So, Forest beat Charlton, only to be faced with Chelsea in the next round. Where have I seen that before?

Let's hope the BBC show it live so that Lineker and his scouse mates can take the piss out of us.

Although that's not quite what happened (Charlton lost to Chelsea last night) it did draw my mind back to that day. Actually, when the 3rd round draw of the senior FA Cup was made a few weeks back, I was wondering how we might fare in comparison if we got drawn at Stamford Bridge this year

We'd probably get spanked 3-0.

They wouldn't do it easing up after 25 minutes this time though - They'd have to work for it.

And a rousing chorus of "I've never felt more like singing the blues, when the Forest win and the Derby lose.." rattled down Trentside afterwards.

I met a Chelsea fan a few months back who got married on that day. He said he was hoping for a slightly better omen from his team. He is still married though.

and the following few days we hammered Norwich 5-0. My first game :)

That was a run of fixtures after we'd got to the FA Cup Final in '91. We couldn't stop scoring. Last game of the season was a rip snoughter against Dirty Leeds which we won 4-3

I was at the 7-0 and to be honest Chelsea were lucky to get away with 7. We absolutely murdered them and it could easily have been double figures.
