Forest to bag Blackstock

Skysports.com understands Nottingham Forest are poised to sign QPR striker Dexter Blackstock.

Forest are locked in talks with Rangers over a deal for Blackstock, who ended last season on loan at the City Ground.

A fee in the region of £1.6million is believed to have been agreed with Forest offering Blackstock a four-year deal to move to the club.

Blackstock impressed at Forest during his loan spell, scoring twice in six games and in the process helping Billy Davies' men escape relegation.

If Blackstock completes his switch to Forest he will become the third new forward to arrive at the club this summer following the additions of Dele Adebola and David McGoldrick.

Can Blackstock play centre back? Maybe BD will perform a Kenny Burns-esque conversion.

Don't talk stupid. Its way way too early to think about 'the league is ours'. Yes we have top strikers at the club but we need to strengthen our back 4. I'm not being negative but it will be another season until we go up. If we go up this season, we will do a Derby.

I remember people rubbishing the claim that BD was being given 10 million for new players. What paper was it in?

But anyway - looks like it may be the truth!! What a fantastic time to do it when everyone one is screwed.

Don't be so negative. BD has until Christmas to get us promoted or he's out on his ear.
 
They might just give us a bye for the season and entry into the Champions league instead of Man Utd as they are now a selling club.

I am thinking of a fabulous business opportunity. As the league is now a formality, I may print some commemorative Forest Champions 09/10 t-shirts up to sell at the first home game. Get in before those official fat cats do. We are destined for the land of milk and honey. Fulham away.

10 seconds b4 kick off at the Reading game, lets do a New Year style countdown and go mental as soon as the kick off whistle is blown to celebrate the inevitable championship. It would confuse the shit out of the home fans as well.
