Forest strikers....

A trivia question:

When was the last time a Forest striker (or any other player) scored twice (or more) in a league game?

I honestly can't remember the same player scoring more than one goal in any match since League One.

I think it was Earnie at home to Preston in our 2-1 win last season.

A lot of our wins towards the end of last season were tight and I can't recall anyone doing it this season.

I remember Earnshaw in that Preston game actually- one was a header at the far post, and the other was a goalkeeper error when Earnie was chasing the ball down. Is that right?

How about Tyson- who did he put 2 past?

id just wish we would score more than 1 in a game and put it to bed
Sadly that'll never happen with McGoldrick up front alone. 1-1 or 1-0 is about best we can achieve at the moment. If we are to resort to McGoldrick up front alone I would like to see McCleary on right with Ando on the left. At least they can provide an attacking threat to support the lone man.
Will Dex be back against Boro?

I hope so but I would much rather be seeing a

Blackstock/Adebola Earnshaw/McGoldrick

partnership because in theory it would work. If you're gonna have a lone striker it should be Blackstock and nobody else because he IMO is the only striker you could class as a target man and a good finisher.
