Hello David,

I'm surprised a boy from Eton knows anything about Football. (or real life for that matter)

Which would explain why yo don't know we won the League title and League Cup in 77-78 and League Cup and European Cup 78-79 (technically we won the Euro Cup 3 weeks after the election, but yo know what I mean)

Keep the red flag flying here.

... which is precisely why he wouldn't be in favour of re-electing a government that's increased the gap between the rich and the poor.

The Labour government of 1997 - present has checked the growth of inequality, and lifted millions of children and pensioners out of poverty.

The preceeding Tory government, on the other hand, engineered the most dramatic increase in inequality since the industrial revolution as an ideological desirable point of policy.

You don't believe that...

I do.

The level of inequality in Britain is shocking, and Labour's refusal to narrow the gap between rich and poor has been one of our greatest failings.

This failure should not obscure the enourmous resources which have been chanelled into supporting certain groups - such as children and pensioners.

Other groups have been unjustly excluded from this level of commitment, but I firmly believe that under a Tory or Lib Dem government the gap between rich and poor would have expanded even more dramatically.
