Forest on the BBC and other changes

Nottingham Forest's Championship game against Cardiff City at the new Cardiff City Stadium has been switched to a Sunday kick-off and will be screened live on BBC TV.

It will now take place on Sunday, November 1 with a 2pm kick-off.

The kick-off times of two other away games have also been changed.

The game against Watford on Boxing Day will now kick-off at 12 noon and the match against Derby County at Pride Park on January 30 2010 will kick-off at 1pm.

Im still waiting for the police to step in and change our kick off time against derby on bank holiday weekend.
I hope it dosent happen but it wouldnt surprise me if they did!

Does seem strange that the game at derby has been moved already but no announcement on the home game, maybe sky want to show it and are trying to find a slot to put it in?

Since when have the Beeb started showing Championship games live, did I miss something?

I thnk they only get something like 10 games

I think they won the rights a couple of years ago to screen live championship games along with sky and for the next 3 or 4 seasons

Well thats fantastic news. They might roll out Larry Lloyd to pundit, which is the most efficient way of moving him now.

Sky have the 5.30pm slot on the Saturday free. No CCC game scheduled for the early Sunday kick off

Wouldnt read much into that.

Schedule isnt set in stone yet. They dont have a premiership game for the lunchtime slot, so could be fitted in.

Sky often have the local derbies on the lunchtime followed by a premiership game.

Unless of course BBC will show it on the Sunday Lunch.

I was under the impression that they move potential problem weekend games to earlier in the day rather than later to avoid lots of drunks.
