Forest Offer To Armed Forces

Nottingham Forest are marking Remembrance Sunday by making a special offer to members of the armed forces to attend the Championship game with Bristol City on Saturday November 7.

The game comes a day before Remembrance Day and Forest are making it possible for serving members of the Army, Navy, RAF and the TA to attend the game for just £5.

They can also bring a guest for £5.

Forest have had strong links with the Worcestershireand Sherwood ForestersMercian Regiment, who will be special guests at The City Ground for the game against Leicester City on Saturday December 5, but it was thought that the Bristol game was a timely opportunity to make a gesture to servicemen and women

Said a Forest spokesman: "We thought it would be a good idea with Remembrance Sunday falling a day after the game and we are hoping that the offer is well received."

Just had an email from the club after I asked them about a refund on the tickets I've got for Pierre and the tickets are only available in T Block and not for sale through the club but from barracks.

Only Chilwell have taken them up on the offer so far but I'm about to put myself forward as a rep for my barracks and the Carrerick area. 'Randy' I'll PM you the email incase you feel like trying to flog tickets in your base

If anyone forgets theirs on the day I'll have a box of poppies and a collection tin with me and will be selling them in the Globe and other pubs near the ground before and after the game and (hopefully) inside the ground at half time
