Forest Flag

A couple of years ago when the Capital One sponsorship started we used to pass a giant Forest shirt across the Trent End. Then it was just used as a centre piece before games in the centre circle.

Anyone think it would be a good idea to have a large flag or shirt again to pass over areas of the ground before games, probably even at away games too ?

You can see a few on Champions League games esp the Scousers and occasionally in Europe too.

Saw Villa do it at the Holte end this season with a giant flag. I think it would look alright. Who actually owns it and who folds it up at the end?

does anyone know where i could get hold of a standard size forest flag ? i have a forest beer towel in my van but would rather have a flag on show as it'd be more obvious.

The sheep have a massive flag and seem to think the're a bit special because of it.

I tend to agree.

I bet they got it bought for them along with their season tickets, scarves and sheep masks.

I would rather we didn't have a big gimmicky flag - we have Flagman's flag and plenty of others provided by passionate supporters - that says much more to me than some corporate produced gimmickery!

the one thing i have always wondered about these huge flags and shirts is sometimes they still seem to be being passed around after kick off. Wouldnt it be a little annoying if you were stuck underneath it?

One guy takes that Derby flag to PP, it wasn't their on Saturday or Tuesday and a lot of fans are saying that's why they lost, he then issued a public apology about it saying his wife had given birth, fair enoof.

There was a f***ing massive flag that the Cologne fans brought over with them in 1979, it wasn't too surprising to see it make an appearance in the East Stand (that's the predecessor of the Brian Clough for you youngsters) at the next home game. Never saw it again after that. I wonder what happened to it.

Anyone remember when we played Wallsall a few seasons ago, i think it was our 1st away game of our 1st season in L1, someone had a massive flag that was passed overhead.
